As we mentioned in our News item on the EGC Annual Meeting in The Hague last September, we had a few new countries represented. Among these was Alenka Ogrin from Slovenia. She sent us following letter:
“I wrote an article about why climate change matters and why older people should care about it, about EGC and our annual meeting. In the end I invited other seniors to join … and let’s see what happens now.
Please find attached a scanned article “Older people for a green tomorrow”, from the Vzajemnost, a very popular monthly magazine for older people, with nearly 20,000 subscribed readers, which is a quite a huge number for Slovenia”.
We wish Alenka success with this initiative. If you would like to join, please get in touch via our contact form.
